Collar & Clipboard grew from more than a decade of working with animals and the people who love them.

I'm Eric, and I'm a veterinary technician with more than 10 years of experience caring for animals and working with the people who love them.

Over the years, I've seen just how much goes into caring for a pet—from keeping track of medical information and medications to making sure the people caring for them have the information they need. That real-world experience is what inspired Collar & Clipboard.

I'm building Collar & Clipboard alongside my work in veterinary medicine, with the goal of creating practical, affordable resources that make life with pets a little easier and more organized. Some ideas come directly from things I've encountered throughout my career, while others simply come from being an animal lover myself.

What started with printable pet-care resources is something I hope to grow into much more. Along with useful products and books, I want Collar & Clipboard to become a place where people can celebrate their pets, share their stories, and find resources created with real-world pet care in mind.

That's also why you'll find things here like Pet of the Week. Collar & Clipboard isn't meant to feel like a faceless online store. There's a real person behind it, going to work, caring for animals, and building this small business one step at a time.

At the heart of it all is something my years in veterinary medicine have reinforced again and again: pets are family, and the little things we do to care for them matter.
